Booking & Cancellation Policy

We look forward to welcoming you on board! To ensure a smooth and stress-free experience, please review our booking, payment, and cancellation terms below.

Day Charters
Booking & Payment
  • Full payment is required to confirm your booking.
  • Some excursions require a minimum number of participants. If this applies, we will notify you in advance.
Payment Options
  • Online payment by credit or debit card
  • Bank transfer to our account
  • Secure payment link (available on request)
  • Please note: Service fees or bank charges may apply for credit card transactions or international transfers.
Changes & Cancellations
  • Date changes: Possible up to 2 days before departure, subject to availability.
  • Cancellation fees:
    • Same day / No-show: 100% charge
    • Within 48 hours: 50% charge
    • More than 48 hours: Full refund
  • Important: Weather-related cancellations requested by clients are non-refundable.
Cancellation by Catamaran Cruises Ltd
  • We may cancel a trip due to:
    • Adverse weather conditions
    • Insufficient participants
    • Technical issues or force majeure
  • In this case: You will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. We are not liable for additional costs beyond our control (e.g. flights, accommodation, transfers, transaction fees or service fees).
Liveaboard Charters
Booking & Payment
  • 30% deposit required to secure your booking.
  • Balance due: 45 days before departure.
  • Bookings made within 60 days of departure require full payment at booking.
  • Payment Options:
    • Secure payment link
    • Bank transfer
    • Credit/debit card (processing fees may apply)
  • Bookings are confirmed once payment is received.

Cancellation Policy
  • More than 90 days: Full refund (minus administrative fees)
  • 45–90 days: 50% refund of total charter cost
  • Less than 45 days: No refund
  • Note: Optional extras (diving, special meals, drinks, transfers) are non-refundable once confirmed.
Cancellation by Catamaran Cruises Ltd
  • We may cancel due to:
    • Severe weather or sea condition
    • Technical or mechanical problems
    • Force majeure (circumstances beyond our control)
  • In this case: You may choose a full refund or a rescheduled cruise at no extra cost. We are not responsible for external expenses (e.g. flights, hotels).
Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellation or delays
  • Emergency medical care and evacuation
  • Loss or damage of personal belongings

For our St Brandon Expeditions, we recommend Global Rescue as a trusted travel insurance provider.
