Day 1. Black River - Benitier Island

  • We will meet the captain at 13:00 at the L’Estuaire shopping center in the la Balise marina, where you will get acquainted with the snow-white catamaran.
  • The captain will conduct a safety briefing and answer any questions.
  • Today we have a short sea voyage ahead of us – just an hour in the ocean so that you can get used to the yacht. We are heading to Benitier Island .
  • You will have the opportunity to snorkel at the famous shell-shaped Crystal Rock .
  • Around 22:00 we return to the yacht, sweet dreams after the flight and the first emotions.

Day 2. Benitiers Island - Le Morne - Tamarin

  • Forward to the ” cradle of life”! In the morning we need to have a snack and then we leave right away. On the way we’ll stop by to say hello to the dolphins, and how are they doing there… and of course, swimming with them ++ for good luck.
  • 13:00 Lunch with a view of Le Morne – the mountain and the peninsula of the same name. This is where the famous underwater waterfall is located, we called it “the cradle of life” . The height of the basalt mountain reaches 556 m, by the way, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . Launch the unmanned module.
  • Wait, that’s not all, you can go on a safari if you want. The bus leaves at exactly 2:00 PM. It is recommended to visit Casela Park in the morning or afternoon, not after lunch. Lions, tigers, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, deer and many other wild animals are waiting for you ( additional charge and optional ).
  • 17:00 – Transfer to Tamarin Bay, to the yacht.
  • 17:15 – Beach, gentle sea, dinner. This place is world famous among surfers, it was captured in the documentary about wave lovers “The Forgotten Island of Santosha” . In addition, the local fishing village produces salt for the entire island, and the waters around are full of dolphins .

Day 3. Tamarin - Port Louis - Turtle Bay

  • After breakfast we will head to the capital of Mauritius, Port Louis. On the way we will contemplate the lava rocks of Albion and the working lighthouse .
  • Visit the large Waterfront shopping center with an alley under umbrellas, the street of local craftsmen, the central market (we will definitely stop for fruit), street food points, Chinatown and the slavery museum. Possibility to organize a Food Tour – cuisines of the world ( paid additionally and optional ).
  • After a walk around the city, we head to Turtle Bay . The French gave it this name because of the sea turtles that still live there. The beautiful beach here is ideal for swimming, paddle boarding and snorkeling. We will have dinner on a yacht. Enjoy the stunning sunset!

Day 4. Balaclava - Coin de Mir

  • Ahead is the uninhabited island of Coin de Mir , located in the north of Mauritius. Let’s go diving, there is amazing snorkeling here!
  • Let’s move on, our yacht will take you to Palisade Island , where you can walk along the wild picturesque coast. There is snow-white fine sand, like flour, turquoise water and a rich underwater world.
  • For dinner and overnight we will head to Grand Baie Bay.

*If you wish, you can stop by for dinner at the unique 5* hotel Lux Grand Baie (additional charge, optional).

Day 5. Grand Baie

  • Good morning! Shall we have breakfast? In Grand Bay we will land at the village of Grand-Baie . There are restaurants and cafes , souvenir shops and a local market .
  • Would you like to visit the Pamplemousses garden , and then have lunch at the Chateau Labourdonnais restaurant? ( paid separately and optional ).
  • Sugar cane plantation Chateau Labourdonnais. Yes, yes, yes! The atmosphere here is 19th century: you can look into a Victorian mansion, see a nursery of fruit trees and try local rum at a free tasting ( paid separately and optional ).
  • We will spend the evening on the yacht, tasting another masterpiece of our chef . We recommend visiting the fashionable establishment (night club) N’JOY . Ask the captain to reserve a table in advance.
  • Sweet dreams on a yacht opposite the Iconic Royal Palm Hotel or Lux Grand Bay hotel .

Day 6. Whale Watching - Mont Choisy Beach

  • Towards the whales. We have breakfast and go looking for them! Our captain will do everything possible to ensure that everyone sees these amazing animals. According to the latest estimates, a group of 50 individuals constantly lives near the western coast. Humpback whales, pilot whales and orcas are encountered.
  • In the afternoon we will arrive at the white sand beach of Mont Choisy.
  • In the evening after dinner we will recognize unfamiliar outlines of the constellations of the Southern Hemisphere. Hint: they are upside down! By the way, you probably noticed that the sun goes from right to left here – fantastic.

Day 7. Mont Choisy-Albion-Tamarin

  • After breakfast we head back to the west coast. Along the way we will continue to look for whales and dolphins , fish and sunbathe on the bow of the ship. We will stop at Les Falaises D’albion for lunch.
  • Return to Black River Bay, a safe haven protected from the winds by a majestic mountain range that will provide a stunning sunset backdrop.
  • Dinner on the yacht or at the Italian restaurant Il Padrinon on the pier ( additional charge and optional ).

Day 8. Tamarin Bay - L'Estuaire

Breakfast, swimming and enjoying the view of the Tamarin Mountains , and then heading out to look for dolphins . Last pictures and we return to our home marina La Balize by 10am. We don’t forget anything and release the yachts!

Opportunity to go on a picturesque walk to the Chamarel dunes and colored earth (seven-colored sands of Mauritius). Here you can have lunch at the restaurant la Rhumerie de Chamarel , and then go to the airport ( paid additionally and optional ).
