Day 1. Black River - Benitier Island

  • Welcome at the marina, where you’ll offload your luggage and transfer to the catamaran at 13:00 from L’Estuaire, La Balise Marina.
  • Meet your skipper for a safety briefing and to answer any questions.
  • Begin your adventure with a short one-hour passage to get comfortable on board as we sail towards the crystal-clear fonds blanc at Benitiers Island.
  • Snorkel behind the reef near La Preneuse and discover the vibrant marine life.
  • End the day with your first delicious meal prepared by our friendly crew, before relaxing under a sky full of stars.

Day 2. Benitiers Island - Le Morne - Tamarin

  • Begin the day with breakfast on board before heading out to sea for dolphin spotting. With a little luck, you will encounter spinner and bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat.
  • We then sail towards Le Morne, a breathtaking basalt mountain rising 556 meters and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here, you can admire the famous underwater waterfall illusion, best seen from the air. For an unforgettable experience, you may book a helicopter or seaplane tour (extra cost).
  • After lunch, you have the option to disembark for a safari adventure at Casela Nature Park (extra cost), where lions, giraffes, cheetahs, hippos, and many other animals await. During this time, the catamaran will relocate to the marina.
  • Once back from your excursion, jump onboard the yacht and set sail towards Tamarin Bay, where you will spend your second night surrounded by calm waters and a stunning sunset backdrop.

Day 3. Tamarin - Port Louis - Turtle Bay

  • After breakfast, we set sail towards the capital, Port Louis. On the way, we’ll pass the dramatic lava cliffs of Albion and its historic lighthouse – a perfect photo opportunity.
  • In Port Louis, you can explore the Waterfront, lively markets, Chinatown, and fascinating museums. For food lovers, a guided Food Tour can also be arranged (extra cost).
  • By afternoon, we sail to Turtle Bay, named for the sea turtles that still swim in its waters. Its sandy beach is ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and snorkelling.
  • End the day with dinner on board while enjoying a breathtaking sunset at anchor.

Day 4. Turtle Bay  – Coin de Mire  – Merville Bay

  • After leaving Turtle Bay, we sail to Coin de Mire, an uninhabited island in northern Mauritius. Its Confetti Bay offers some of the best snorkelling on the island, with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life.
  • Lunch is served on board before a relaxing afternoon at anchor. Later, we continue to Merville Bay, arriving mid-afternoon. Enjoy a stroll along the soft sandy beach, a swim, or simply relax onshore.
  • As evening falls, we return to the yacht for dinner under the stars

Day 5. Merville Bay – Palissade – La Cuvette

  • After breakfast, we set sail to Flat Island, anchoring in the sheltered Palissade Bay. Enjoy snorkelling in turquoise waters or hop ashore on the island’s wild west beach. Take your time with snorkelling, stand-up paddleboarding, or simply relaxing in this unspoiled setting.
  • Lunch is served on board, with the historic lighthouse as a stunning backdrop.
  • In the late afternoon, we return toward the mainland and drop anchor at La Cuvette, right in front of the iconic Royal Palm 5 Hotel.
  • Dinner is served on board, and for those wishing to extend the evening, Grand Baie’s nightlife awaits, with NJOY as a lively option.

Day 6. La Cuvette – Land Based Activities – Mont Choisy

  • After breakfast, we disembark in Grand Baie, a lively village with cafés, shops, and a colorful market. Guests may join an optional excursion to the famous Pamplemousses Garden, the Sugar Museum, and the elegant Château de Labourdonnais, with its 19th-century mansion, orchards, rum tasting, and lunch.
  • While you are on excursion, the catamaran will sail to Mont Choisy, where you will re-embark in the afternoon.
  • The evening is spent at anchor in Mont Choisy Bay, a tranquil stretch of white sand and turquoise water — perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, or simply enjoying a walk on the beach.

Day 7. Mont Choisy – Albion – Tamarin Bay

  • We start the day with breakfast on board before heading out to spot whales. Our skipper will do his best to ensure everyone sees these magnificent animals. Around 50 sperm whales live near the west coast, including humpback whales, pilot whales, and occasionally orcas.

  • After whale watching, we continue along the west coast, with opportunities to fish, sunbathe on the bow, or simply enjoy the scenery. We will stop at Les Falaises d’Albion for lunch.

  • In the afternoon, we arrive at Tamarin Bay, a calm bay surrounded by mountains—perfect for a beautiful sunset. Here, we will spend our final night on board, enjoying a relaxing dinner under the stars.

Day 8. Tamarin Bay – Black River

After breakfast, take a refreshing swim and enjoy the stunning views of the Tamarin Mountains. We’ll then head out for one last chance to spot dolphins and capture some final photos. By 10:00, we return to La Balise Marina, marking the end of a memorable cruise. 

For those who wish, an optional scenic excursion is available to the famous Seven-Colored Earth, followed by lunch at La Rhumerie de Chamarel, before proceeding to the airport or your accommodation (additional cost).
